Yoshiyuki Tomino
Yoshiyuki Tomino (born 1941) is a seminal Japanese anime director, screenwriter, and novelist best known as the creator of the Mobile Suit Gundam franchise (1979). Often called the "Father of Gundam," he pioneered the "real robot" genre, bringing realistic, political, and, at times, gritty, anti-war, or dark thematic depth to mecha anime.
He is often known for his great exposition towards Political, Techical and Character building in explaining the reality and weight of war.
